Going Global (Virtually!) Let’s take a quick trip down memory lane! Back in the wild days of 2020, the vertwo team didn’t let closed borders stop our momentum. From Tuesday, November 10th to Friday, November 13th, 2020, we logged on and plugged into G. Con Action 2020 , a massive Online Video Conference.

What was G. Con Action?

Organized by the Gyeonggi Content Agency in South Korea, this event was an absolute goldmine for the creative industry. It was built to foster global inspiration and brought together the absolute best across Animation, Broadcasting, Comics/Webtoon, and Characters.

Since Gyeonggi-do accounts for a massive 21% of South Korea’s national contents industry sales, jumping into this B2B matchmaking pool was a no-brainer for us. Our goal? Exploring international synergies, hunting down fresh IPs, and finding new global business partners.

Even though we were attending through our screens, the networking was incredibly real. The event directory was packed with heavy hitters that dominate the Korean wave.

Looking back, events like G. Con Action 2020 prove that great collaborations don’t always need a physical boardroom. Sometimes, all you need to build the future of the creative industry is a solid internet connection, a shared vision, and a relentless drive to find the next big story!
