Jakarta, Indonesia – We came, we saw, and this time, we reviewed! After an amazing time in 2024, the vertwo crew returned to the Jakarta Convention Center for Indonesia Comic Con 2025. But this year, we didn’t just bring our A-game, we helped other creators find theirs.

We were incredibly honored when the organizers of Indonesia Comic Con reached out and asked vertwo to handle the official portfolio reviews for the event. The Indonesian creative community is bursting with raw talent, and being trusted to guide the next generation of comic artists and creators was an absolute privilege.

The response was overwhelming! Artists around Jakarta RSVP’d in advance, locking in their scheduled slots to drop by our booth.

Dropping Knowledge and Spotting Talent

Throughout the weekend, our booth transformed into a masterclass hub. Aspiring creators brought their absolute best works, presenting their portfolios directly to our Lead Artist and Lead Colorist.

Our team sat down one-on-one with these talented individuals, offering real, constructive feedback, industry insights, and tips on how to elevate their art and storytelling to a professional standard. It was a non-stop marathon of creativity. Seeing the passion and potential in every single portfolio reminded us why the local comic scene is destined for greatness.
